Once upon a time I was a journalist and now I still tell stories but on video. Did you know that if you have a website or use social media marketing you get more hits by adding video? This was backed up by various businesses I spoke to when I was the official videographer for the Swindon Business Expo. Flick's Video Productions gives you short, sharp, punchy promotional videos. Swindon Festival of Literature commissioned me to film their 21st anniversary which included former MP and Strictly star Ann Widdecombe - which was interesting. Covering the Swindon ComCon was great fun, filming actors from Game of Thrones, Thor, Red Dwarf, Star Was and Dr Who. Even public bodies can benefit from video as I discovered when I was commissioned to film a documentary for Swindon Council to encourage more foster families. As a former journalist a documentary style is my speciality. The family run hotel The Pear Tree was a lovely setting to film their story and another Swindon hotel asked me to film a documentary of their charity of the year which promoted the hotel and the charity.
